Nautical Look

Since I might be going to Florida next week, I thought I could put together a cute Nautical - ish outfit for that warm weather. Yes, you got the leggins but they can be really comfortable instead of jeans.

Again, I do not own these items, these are just outfits that can give you an idea on how to dress for certain occasions.

Stripped Navy Blue top: $14.80

Sandals: $19.80

Extra: A brown side messenger bag always does the trick for me and puts the whole outfit together. Add some cute sunglasses and you're ready to go.

Fresh and classy

Fresh-Classy outfit:

Today I decided to just put together a super cute, fresh but also very classy outfit. I do not own these items but I do want them, I'm just waiting for the right time to purchase them. Plus this is just to give you girls ideas on how to look fresh and classy this summer 2010!

I'm not the kind of girl that always up to date with fashion. I like to have my own style, people seem to like it so I'd love to help out everyone who wants it :)

Pants: AGACI $25.50

You can find these at Target as well, I own these pants and they're super comfortable and fresh

Bracelet: FOREVER 21 $4.80

TIP: a brown messenger bag will make it look really chick and cool.

Hair: soft waves will make it look more summery and cute! :)

Products that I use for my hair

Lately I've trying to find a good shampoo that can leave my hair smooth. Now, I have wavy hair and since I highlight my hair it makes the waves a bit crazy, shapeless and brittle. I tried the Burts Bees shampoo and it was terrible on my hair. I also tried Garnier Fructis, the tripple moisture one (bad) and others too.

It is important that when you buy your shampoo you look at their ingredients. SLS (Sodium Laureth Sulfate) is a really bad damaging chemical on almost all shampoo.

I went to Walgreens desperately looking for a good shampoo and I saw this one by Neutrogena. This stuff smells wonderful! It DOES NOT contain SLS so thats a plus! It leaves your hair softer and manageable with each wash

TIP: Wash off your conditioner with cold water! It gives your hair shine and it closes the cuticles.

They also have a leave in conditioner that is not oily (my hair is oily) which is also a heat protector, 2 in 1, PERFECT!

These products are between $5.99 - $6.99 at my local Walgreens.

If you get a chance, try this and let me know how it has worked for you. I am one of those that buys something and I don't care if it's a shampoo, I WILL RETURN IT lol, why keep something that does not work for you right?

Friends Graduation

Good Morning!

So this outfit I wore about 2 weeks ago. I had a picture of it so i figured I could upload it to have more than one entry as of now.

This I wore to a graduation ceremony of the High School I went to. It was a reaallly humid night so all the magic went away once we got out of the ceremony lol. It was pretty funny seeing all the girls stressing over their hair and I swear everyone smelled horrrrible!! It was so hot and humid..horrible...thats what the weather is like here in TX . I did not care much about my hair cause there was nothing I could do about it so I was like freak it.

I do have the same pants here as the above outfit which was a coinsidence but WHY NOT mix and match outfits? you gotta work with what you have right? PLUS people dont always tell you're wearing the same pants so worry not :D

Now I think to make yourself even better a SMILE puts everything together and it shows people how great you feel. I am not the most confident person in the world but I do try to feel good cause it shows and it attracts people even more.

What I'm wearing:

Blouse: Forever21- I think it was about 17.80 I'm not sure cause I threw away the tag muahah

Pants: Dillards (Description in previous blog)

Earrings: Pearls - Pearls are great accessories to make an outfit classy and cute! So add them to to your outfit! Last week I found a set of like 6 or 8 pairs of pearls from small to big all for $2.80! So go get yourself some :D

Hair: Just a simple straight hair style. Its important to stay simple on your hair when you have patterns on your top (My opinion) If you do have patters and yo go with curly hair...it looks too busy so keep it simple and just blow dry your hair and then straighten it with a flat iron . LESS IS MORE : )
